Biblical Restorative Justice "If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die."
When this website was begun, I started with premise that I saw things from a prayerfully perspective. I and my family have seen first hand the dark side of crime and light side of renewal in the light of God's grace. All I want in my spirit is to see both the victims and the offenders come together under God forgiveness and restorative power to heal all hurts that any human could image in ther human experience. Little did I know that this was a part of restorative justice, where, healing for every person involved could be addressed. I see from other writings that this concept is hard to see it's fulfillment. However, I want look passed what we can put in in our finite human thinking, and see the missing necessary ingredient as prayer. I been an eye witness to God power as he cut through the juvenile justice system, and gave life to two innocent victims. My own 15 year old daughter was caught in the web of lies, when she confessed to attempted murder charges of my sister. Her so-called male friends did the crime, and to this day haven't done any restorative moves, whether it be from the criminal justice system, or repentance gestures. This is why the area of restoration, can be delayed, with ongoing pain not be healed by those have done the crime. I still pray that these young men's consciences will bring them safely face-to-face with all parties involved. I bless my God and the one who he sent Jesus, as the restorer of all person's spirits and souls. Jesus already put to death in his own flesh all these hideous crimes and ways of thinking that spun these acts of violence toward individuals and the community as a whole. "Heavenly Father, we pray for all those who are living a double life due to not confessing to crimes that have gone unsolved, and those who still still suffer under the spell of the crimes that total healing will come to all of us. We pray for the parents on both of sides peer-to peer crimes that they use speech that promotes life and forgiveness in dealing with one another, and for the deafening silence that comes when neighbors stop speaking when known offender crimes are known in the community be stopped and be replaced by the sounds of laughter and joy. We lift toward heaven a cry for all those little ones who are innocently incarcerated for any crimes and who are labeled as the offender that "true justice" be granted by the Most High soon. Thank you Lord, for all those who work in the prisons and correctional institutions that know you, strengthen them and gird their minds from being jaded in corrupt places that they continue to be a to be living witness before colleagues and juvenile inmates who don't know you. We submit the names of all judges and law makers in this country and around the world, that they consider the cross Jesus bore for the ultimate example freedom any human could experience, ---freedom from the sentence and prison of death ---, when they render decisions about juveniles. Lord, you are so worthy of praise in all situations where a successfully outcome has been the result, and we await for the rest in the state of peace. As the scriptures above states, let the wicked choose the ways of life for the rest of their lives, and restore to those they robbed in ( spirit, emotionally, mentally, physically, and materially, { italics, author } ) those things that must be address with repentance. We pray that their efforts to tangibly give back are received favorable by the victims, in areas a human can help give back. Lord, may we allow the power of God to restore all things that humans are unable to restore ----- help us all Heavenly Father be at peace and full of joy ----- In Jesus name ----- AMEN."
